PR 6: Evaluate
3Ps Review
Personal:
The course helped me on a personal level by pushing me to further develop my teaching style and sessions. By helping me to further develop my working relationship with Matt and Om and by providing me with an income financially which will help me to be able to continue running courses sustainably.
Professional:
The course was of great benefit to me professionally, by helping to boost my reputation and get my name out there on the teaching circuit. The students had a fantastic and powerful experience during the two weeks and this was reflected in the feedback.
The course was a first for all of us, combining these subjects into one course had been something that the three of us had been discussing for sometime.
We found that the subject matter merged and overlapped so well and really helped to give a more holistic approach to helping people to make the shift to a more environmentally conscious paradigm. It's a course that we wish to keep tweaking, developing and running for many years to come.
Project:
In the context of benefits to projects the course achieved this two-fold.
Firstly in terms of the Panya Project the course benefited the project by diversifying the variety of courses that the project has facilitated. By running a very high quality course that received excellent feedback which will help to further boost the reputation of Panya. By helping Panya members to push themselves and develop their capacity to help teach & facilitate courses efficiently. This was achieved by encouraging panya members to run sessions as apprentice teachers.
We also created a new instant garden bed, several pieces of mosaic work and made compost. All of which will be valuable for Panya.
Secondly it helped us; Matt, Om & I further develop our repertoire of courses and workshops and helped us develop our team teaching style and collaborative teaching approach. Which is very useful for our personal company project; Holistic Regeneration.
